The area covered by the Karen and Langata
District Association is located to the South West of the city
and is linked to the city centre by the Ngong and Langata roads.
The area is bounded by the Motoine river to the North, the
Mbagathi river to the South, the Magadi road and the Nairobi
National Park to the East and the Nairobi city boundary to the
west.
Total area covered: approximately 54 square kilometres
Total population: approximately 26,000 residents (1999 census)
